B.O.M. Design exceeds  compliance with all local, state and federal environmental guidelines. Environmental Protection laws are strictly followed . For instance, oil based enamels- a traditional finish  are  no .longer offered due to the high VOC ( volatile organic compounds)content.  Our finish waste is handled by a certified disposal company and our shop is licensed by several agencies. City of Orange Fire Department, County of Orange Health Care Agency, State AQMD, and Federal Environmental Protection Agency. It is a time consuming and costly process to maintain these practices , worth the effort as we are all better off . Our clients know that iron from our  shop is manufactured responsibly.

 Exterior iron  MUST have protection against the elements. We always offer  Zinc Metallizing- a process that insures no rust for many years.  After fabrication and before finish application we transport your steel to Zinc Nation . Quality primer + Polyurethane top coats are standard at our shop. We may use waterbased enamels if  a tight  budget  without regard to future  upkeep costs is your prime concern.
